Our translation services cover all language pairs and we are specialists in languages of the European Union (Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish).

We also have a network of translators who specialise in languages from all over the world, depending on the subject area.

Quality

Translate 4U2 only works with professional translators who are selected according to the following criteria:

  • Translator working in their native language (native speaker), trained in translation/interpretation/linguistics or with equivalent experience
  • Translator specialised in one or more fields, whose development is continually monitored in order to maintain the level of technical expertise
  • Translator with several years of experience as a professional translator.

These criteria allow us to guarantee that the text is accurately rendered in the reader’s native language with all nuances preserved. In order to ensure uniformity of terminology, translations for the same client are assigned to the same translator. The translations are then reviewed before delivery by another native speaker translator, specialising in proofreading.

Deadline permitting, a preliminary terminology review (analysis of all relevant documentation) is carried out for every specialised translation project. This allows domain-specific terms to be imported into a dedicated database.

Any terminology collected is permanently stored and shared with the various stakeholders: translator, project manager, editor, client. The regular updating of our databases also allows us to ensure maximum consistency in projects requiring the involvement of different translators, and to work efficiently with our assisted translation tools.

Translate 4U2 offers you different types of interpretation:

  • Simultaneous interpreting (interpreting booths)
  • Liaison interpreting (accompaniment of one or more persons, allowing all persons to be linked)
  • Consecutive interpreting (translation close to the speaker who interrupts to let the interpreter speak)
  • Chuchotage (simultaneous interpretation in a quiet voice).

Using an interpreting service demonstrates your respect for your speakers and guests, their cultural characteristics and therefore their identity. Interpreting facilitates discussion and communication between the various participants, in addition to giving an international dimension to your events.
